2025. What a year.

When we started this year, we had no idea how incredible it would be. We’re wrapping up 2025 feeling grateful for our team, partners, and especially our clients. At The Small Social, we value the relationships we build, and we want to thank you for trusting us with your business, and being an integral part of our journey in 2025. 

 

Looking forward to the new year, we’re excited to bring you innovative strategies and fresh, new ideas to help you achieve even greater success. Here’s to another year of collaboration, growth, and meaningful results.

A Year In Review

We Grew Our Team

This year, we welcomed 3 new talented members to our team. Barbara joined our management team as a Digital Marketing Manager, while Carolina and Emily joined us as Digital Marketing Coordinators. Each of these women bring unique talents to the team to support our clients achieve their goals.

We Said “See You Soon” & “Welcome Back”

In March, our Digital Marketing Coordinator, Nicole, took some time off to take care of her son who is undergoing treatment for cancer. We’re excited to welcome her back in January and continue supporting her family.


In July, our Digital Marketing Director, Cat, went on maternity leave. She will be off until late summer 2026 to enjoy life with her new family.


Our Digital Marketing Manager, Lara, returned from maternity leave in August. We’re happy to have her back supporting our team and clients.

The Small Social Turned 5

The Small Social turned 5! We can’t believe it’s already been 5 years since we founded The Small Social Company. In that time, we’ve supported over 300 clients to achieve their online goals. Many of our clients have been with us since the very beginning. We believe in building lasting relationships with our clients and partners, and this milestone means so much to us.

We Celebrated Some Big Milestones

We Expanded Content Creation Offerings

In 2025, we saw a significant increase in inquiries for photo and video shoots for small and large businesses alike. We proudly captured content for 50 businesses across Canada and the US, leveling up their brand image, and expanding our portfolio.

We Gave Back to our Community

Supporting our community beyond business is important to every member of The Small Social team. This year, we proudly supported 5 organizations and causes to help make a positive impact in the communities we serve.



  • The Food Sharing Project: This amazing organization helps ensure students in the Kingston, Frontenac and Lennox & Addington area have access to healthy food. 
  • Ovarian Cancer Canada: This not-for-profit funds research and programs to create a future where ovarian cancer is preventable, curable, and ultimately eradicated.
  • Team Bolton, Napanee Curling Club: we are proud to have created the logo for the U18 Women’s curling team and to sponsor the team for this season.
  • Smiths Falls Frost Hockey: We love supporting organizations that empower young girls in sports. 
  • Lawson’s GoFundMe: Earlier this year, Nicole and her family found out that their son, Lawson, has cancer. This is something no family should have to go through. We are proud to support Nicole and her family on this difficult journey.

We Had a Great Team Building Retreat

We wouldn’t be who we are without our incredible team, so we make sure to take some time to reset and reorient as a group. This year, we went to Nashville for our team retreat. Between the delicious meals, line dancing lessons, and late night laughs on Broadway, we planned for the new year, strategized for our clients, and got back to the basics of who we are as an organization.

Ready for the Holidays

Our team will be out of office from December 22nd until January 5th to enjoy the holidays with family and friends.
